This "slowly running" resizing machine is integrated in a screening plant and serves for the optimum unravelling of the material to be processed.

Technical equipment:

The material is drawn in by a roller unit on the top side and a chain conveyor on the bottom side. The rocking roller unit is lifted by the current feed height; a hydraulic system relieves the roller unit from load and buffers it. In order to protect the RE-SR from foreign objects, the machine is equipped with a flexible counter blade, i.e. the hydraulic preliminary tension of the counter blade is adjustable. A post-chipping screen ensures the regularity of the chipped material, the material is discharged via a troughed chain conveyor installed beneath the machine.

The incoming material can either be fed in by wheeled loader or grab. The grain size of the chipped material is 0-200 mm (depending on the mesh size of the installed screen) which makes the material an ideal raw product for further utilisation (e.g. in biomass heating plants).
