Rettenmeier looks for one-stop supply solution

On 18.09.2020, the magazine journal „Holz-Zentralblatt“ published a report about the new pelletising plant of company Rettenmeier in Liptovský / Slovakia.

Rettenmeier was founded by Josef Rettenmeier senior in 1948. Since then it has turned from being a dealer of pit and pulp wood with a sawmill into a company owning six sawmills in three countries (Germany, Latvia, and Slovakia). Rettenmeier has been a part of Cordes GmbH, Bremerhaven, since 2014. Its main products are lumber, profiled timber, DIY ranges and KVH, with pellets also coming increasingly to the fore. A pelletizing facility planned, built and installed by Rudnick & Enners at Liptovský Hrádok site in Slovakia has already gone into operation, while the second of four planned units is to follow in Ramstein.
