RETTENMEIER RELIES ON DELIVERY FROM A SINGLE SOURCE
On 18 September 2020, the Holz-Zentralblatt published an article about Rettenmeier's newly built pelleting plant at the Slovakian location of Liptovský.
The Rettenmeier company was founded by Josef Rettenmeier sen. in 1948 and developed from a trader of wood for mines and paper with a sawmill into a company with six sawmills in three countries (Germany, Latvia, Slovakia). Rettenmeier has been part of Cordes GmbH from Bremerhaven since 2014. The main products are sawn timber, profiled timber, DIY assortments and solid structural timber – in future pellets will be added to a greater extent. At the Slovakian location of Liptovský Hrádok, a pelleting plant designed, built and installed by Rudnick & Enners has already been put into operation; in Ramstein, the second of four planned will follow.
