In order to be able to operate cost-effectively on the raw material market at the same time, a flexible debarking solution is required for a wide range of log diameters and curvatures. The roller debarking unit by Rudnick & Enners effectively removes the bark from cut wood and thinning material of various diameters, at a low rotational speed of the rotating cylinders and via reciprocal friction.
