The use of debarked input material is necessary for producing high-quality pellets and to meet the corresponding requirements in the standards. In order to be able to operate cost-effectively on the raw material market at the same time, a flexible debarking solution is required for a wide range of log diameters and curvatures. The roller debarking unit by Rudnick & Enners effectively removes the bark from cut wood and thinning material of various diameters, at a low rotational speed of the rotating cylinders and via reciprocal friction.
Debarking systems by Rudnick & Enners are characterized by their high robustness and versatility. Our machines have been specially designed for the debarking of non-sawable logs and cross-cuts in an extremely wide range of diameters.
Beside the operation as a standalone machine, the debarking systems can also be extended into complete system solutions, for example in combination with our chipping machines and Twin Chippers.
