This is made clear in a 9.5 million euro project completed this year by the Holtmeyer sawmill in Ottersberg (near Bremen). Stefan Holtmeyer, who has been running the family business since last year, explains that the company has been working with two of the most important plant manufacturers on this project for a long time. The company has been dealing with Rudnick & Enners in the sawmill sector "for ages now", and the boiler from Polzenith is the second one, following on from the first which has been in service for more than 12 years without any problems. The project includes the construction of a pellet plant, heat supply with a new boiler as well as four gasifier CHP plants, silos, conveyor technology and buildings as well as efficient fire and explosion protection.
